Cai (rhymes with “hey”) Barbera is a lifelong lover of reading and writing science fiction and fantasy. He wrote his first story at the age of five about a girl velociraptor going on an adventure and fighting androids. Having grown up in the shadow of Pike’s Peak, he currently lives in the Denver metro area with his spouse, child, and dog, and spends much of his time coming up with more story ideas than he could possibly write in a lifetime. He is an alumnus of the Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Western Colorado University, and his short fiction has been published in anthologies from WordFire Press, Inkd Publishing, and Knight Writing Press.
